Every semester my university organizes a field trip or two to interesting places around Kansai. The most memorable one was perhaps to Suntory’s beer factory. There were about 60 of us including the teachers. After splitting us into two buses, we were off!
Taken from inside the bus.
Suntory! Beer!
Were greeted with lots of these right after we entered. Forgot what they were called.
Some malt. Tour guide was explaining to us how beer is made. Tasted weird.
Then we were brought around the factory where the various manufacturing process occurs.
Filtration area
Beer canning(?) area. Really fast. Took a video too but can’t seem to find it.
All done by machines. These guys just sit there making sure everything is working and possibly drinking beer at the same time.
I wonder how many people actually work here…
Best part of the tour coming up!
Took a short bus ride to the next destination~ Free beer sampling!
♪10,000 bottles of beer on the wall take one down pass it around 9999 bottl…♪
A lot of beer
A row of nice ladies serving us beer.
This nice lady here served me. We were allowed a maximum of three drinks.
Mmmm.. The Premium Malts is one of the best beers I’ve tasted in Japan, a bit pricier than the rest but well worth it.
Some souvenir shopping before we left… We bought more beer.
This was hands down the best school field trip I’ve ever had. After a couple more beers on an empty stomach, the teachers saw fit to cancel classes for the rest of the day~ Yay!

Whoaaaa !!
I wish I had a school trip as great as yours.
@Titang
Yeah! It was a great experience~ School trip that lets you drink beer.
